Freeway Room Divider Accessory Back Board – Providing either 1x or 2x full length pieces of Medical Rail at either the top and / or middle of the back board, allowing users to place and move a large amount of hook over / rail mounted accessories, meaning they can reposition them as required to maximise space and efficiency. We can provide a multitude of accessories to be used in conjunction with the Back Board system, from a basic Glove or Apron dispenser, to a convenient 4 row tilt-bin storage system or even a mount suitable to hold a 42" screen! Also available with NO medical rail if desired. The back board can be constructed from either Steel or TRESPA material as desired.
Freeway Room Divider Trespa Side Panel – Providing either 1x or 2x full height pieces of TRESPA fitted to either / both sides of the cart, to generate additional space to mount Accessories but also avoid encroaching on precious worktop areas. This panel can also be labelled to easily denote a bed number, or allow a whiteboard, clock, gel dispenser or similar to be mounted.
Freeway Airways Cabinet – A class-leading airways cabinet of custom design, developed in conjunction with NHS Staff, to house a multitude of easily accessable and interchangable holders for Airways or Emergency equipment.
Fitted with a solid back board and twin clear 8mm Acrylic sliding doors above the work surface of the room divider. This protects the sealed airways equipment, allowing all airways equipment to be highly visible, showing at a quick glance everything from ETT tubes laid out in size order to laryngoscope blades and emergency scissors, all easily accessible, yet protected. No searching for the correct item, or worry that it has been stocked incorrectly, as if something is missing it is visible in seconds, and can be restocked before it is needed, rather than identified missing when urgently required.
Each individual holder is magnetic and can be removed and repositioned ANYWHERE on the backboard, this means items can be removed easily for cleaning, replace into a different area of the board for convenient access or simply set up as per specific users preferences without cost or wasted time. All Airways holders are also individually labelled, for fast restocking ensuring everything is in its place, and everything has its own designated place, reducing wasted time restocking between events and improving efficiency on the unit.
Staff report that the number of wasted consumables has been significantly reduced as items are not opened in error trying to find the correct size and so the cost of the consumable purchases has been reduced, along with the wastage as only 1 item needs be stocked at one time.
The window is approximately 1375mm wide and would contain the magnetic Steel sheet, that the holders will affix to.
Custom back board colours can be specified as shown to provide multiple colour sections – most commonly with Green, Yellow, Orange & Red on the 50% on the head end, and the other 50% to be plain White. This allows for a series of Magnetic holders for specific equipment designated by the user in PLAN A, PLAN B, PLAN C & PLAN D layouts with generic consumables on the opposite side. Pre-defined 'Adult' or 'Paediatric' configurations are available with an approriate selection of suitable holders, or feel free to create your own custom setup tailored to your needs.
Secure IT Cupboard - An integral part the cart, situated on one end and below the work surface, the IT Cupboard can accommodate a Micro Form Factor PC that is held in place using a quick-release buckle. This allows for the organisation to simply add their existing computer unit in a simple plug and play set up.
The cables can then be routed neatly through the IT Cupboard, through the enclosed cable grommet in the work surface above, and fed to the optional adjustable ergonomic monitor mount arm to support the monitor, medical keyboard and mouse. This creates an adaptable storage area that can be modified to suit specific needs, as well as advancements in technology as time progresses.
The IT Cupboard itself is made secure using a standard Digi-Lock, but keyed options are also available.
Power is introduced to the IT Cupboard via a fused & switched C13 socket fitted to the rear to allow for emergency break away, which then leads to a 4 gang socket to distribute power to the equipment within. Optional trunking can be fitted to the rear of the cart, to allow the unit to be connected to mains power and hospital networks at one end, but supply the IT Cupboard at the opposing end. RJ45 data connections can also be specified to allow network input into the IT equipment within.

Choose Between HTM71 Drawer Boxes Or Mild Steel Drawers - The cart can be configured with a choice of 2 drawer options; HTM71 drawer boxes to house standard sized HTM71 trays (600x400MM, optional dividers also available) which make re-stocking and cleaning a streamlined and efficient process, or Mild Steel drawers that are extremely durable and can hold a greater weight than its lightweight counterpart. Both options have their advantages and disadvantages, just ask one of the team and we will help to ascertain which option may be best.
Cart Storage Area Option - Any Room Divider can be configured with an open storage area to house a seperate cart, that can be taken out for use around the ward, then returned to the Divider for storage without occupying valuable space in the bed area. Stainless Steel Bump Strips can be specified on the left and right hand side of the space, to prevent damage from the carts being removed and replaced.
ALL DRAWERS COATED IN WHITE, WITH THE OPTION OF COLOURED DRAWER FRONTS AS WELL AS DIVIDERS, TO COMPARTMENTALIZE THE STORAGE AREA FURTHER.
Each individual colour coded drawer is also fitted with an anti-tamper mechanism so after an event only the drawers that have been accessed have to be inspected and restocked, safe in the knowledge all others have remained undisturbed, saving valuable staff hours and avoiding contaminating valuable consumables.
